Our tee shirt weight (180 grams per square meter) is in the HEAVY WEIGHT category - this affects the feel, drape, printing and wear over time. The T will feel more substantial than light weight tees (i.e. it has body, won't feel flimsy  and not "see-through". For screen-printing, this weight is beneficial because the fabric supports the print well (much less likely to stretch out or distort). Fast-fashion brands (H&M/Zara) use lightweight cotton and we are even heavier the Nike basic T.

Most axolotl tshirts sold on the BIGGEST-NAME marketplaces and social media e-commerce say “sustainable or eco-friendly” in the title—but check the product descriptions: it’s just regular cotton, one of the most environmentally destructive crops on earth when not grown organically.

That’s not greenwashing.
That’s lying.

We need to build a movement of radical transparency—because without truth, customers can’t make real choices. Organic cotton costs more, and paying that price is the customer’s call to action to help save the planet.

This whole reality puts mission-driven brands like ourAXO at a huge disadvantage—when our entire value is built on real organic quality, not smoke and mirrors.
